Dublin has been invaded!

I just got back from a
nice little week end in the Irish city of Dublin! Which
means that a new European country has been invaded! The
project is spreading and spreading! By the way the
whiskey and the beer taste good over there, you should
check it out! I was even surprised by the weather: we
had some nice sunshine! Check the photos by clicking
here >>

Invading a body!
I didn't give any news
for a while and I would like to apologize for that!
Still in France they say 'no news good news'!
Anyway I am back with some fresh and juicy stuff! I've
been talking with some friends and we came up with nice
plans for the origami invasion project! One of them was
to invade a body! So we did as you can see here under!
I'd like to thank Margeau for her participation,
patience, and cooperation! She did a perfect model! And
finally I invite you folks to start invading bodies!

Some news from Australia!
A quick post as I
reciieved some pictures from our friend Koka who is in
Australia with our little Morgane! It seems that the
sun is shinning and that they are having a good time
(you lucky animals)! Anyway here under the two photos I
got. Following Koka's comments, the second photo was
taken in a local museum full of origamis (which made
him think about me, how sweet!)! Take care my friends
and keep enjoying as you will be home faster than you
think!
Africa has been invaded!

Hey everyone! I just
received some photos from Anne Caroline! She got back
from Tanzania and sent me some nice pictures of the
african wildlife! This means that 5 continent have been
invaded, the only one missing being Antarctica! Anyway
Thank You Anne Caroline and also thanks to Francois!

Happy Birthday!
Time passes by....tic tac tic
tac....
The end of January is approaching, time just flies by!
As a matter of fact the origami-invasion website has
been existing for a year now! That seems like a good
occasion to go partying with some birds! So happy
birthday to all of you! For the occasion I''ve been
working on some stuff as you will be able to read here
under. Anyway I hope that the project will keep on
growing as it did till now and of course that the love
will keep on spreading all over the world! Stay
connected and feel free to take a look at the 'support'
section, as some new stuff has been added, and also
look at the 'Facts & Figures', should you want more
recent news concerning the site! Take care as usual!
Concerning the
project:
I’ve personally folded 828 origamis during this year
(seems like it shouldn’t take much longer for my wish
to come true).
4 continents have been invaded, representing a total of
17 countries.
We have 25 active invaders worldwide. Thanks once more
to all of you!
Concerning the
site:
We’ve had 1883 visitors in a year!
They are coming from 39 different countries!
The design has been changed 3 times (as 3 is the
number, the magic number, or maybe I just have a
personality problem?! ).
A new (and final?)
design:
Furthermore I had to do something for the occasion! So
as you can see the site’s design has changed once more:
I’ve decided to keep it simple! I mean lot of people
say ‘just stay natural’ so why not follow their
spiritual thinking? I’ve also read a lot about the
impact of blue on human beings: you should now be
feeling good while surfing the site! Feel free to tell
me which design was best during this year!
Special edition
t-shirts:
Finally as the site is one year old I thought ‘why not
make some special edition t-shirts to celebrate the
even?!!’ ( and naturally to do some propaganda). So I
started working on that matter, and here are the
prototypes that should be printed out soon:
Unfortunately my dear
friends they will only be printed out in limited
numbers so I can't guarantee you'll have one!
Some new pictures have
been added: Thanks Maxime!
I just received Maxim's photos of Thailand. They have
been added to the Worldwide Invasion section, go and
check them out by clicking here, as he did a great job!).

‘Material Universe’: French
calendar, simple style, big numbers, no national
holidays.
The first calendar,
titled ‘Material Universe’, is composed of places from
all over the world: Spain, Germany, France, England,
The Netherlands, Sweden, Hungary, Scotland,
Switzerland, Indonesia, Australia and the United
States. It’s a mix that will allow you to discover
places you’ve never been before, and thus make you
travel while staying at home or in the office... A
compilation of pictures I’ve received so far from our
worldwide invaders located somewhere in our little
planet. Thanks once more for your photos and enjoy each
day!
‘Urban Delicacies’: French
calendar, urban style, small numbers, French
national holidays.
The second calendar, titled ‘Urban Delicacies’, is a
composition of urban elements: objects and places that
are part of our daily lives but yet escaping our
consideration. We could describe it as photos of our
daily views, stuff we see but we don’t remember seeing
if you know what I mean...Anyway this calendar can be
resumed like this: immortalizing urban delicacies with
an artistic touch! I hope these pictures will inspire
you and liberate your imagination as the months will
pass by!
Wishing you all the best!

Just a quick post as I would like to wish you all the best for this New Year 2008! As you can see it above I would even say: “Happy New Invasion!”. I sincerely hope that it’s going to be another great adventure full of positive surprises for all of you! Take care of yourself and of our little planet!
Nice has been invaded!

There they are!
I’ve finally decided to
update the site by putting Juliette’s photos of
Coutainville! As you can see here under she took some
nice pictures! Click here to see all of
them!
Furthermore I got back
from the Netherlands (that is a while ago now). Anyway,
it allowed me to spread the origami spirit to my fellow
little family members! Here under the pictures. For the
rest I haven’t done much as usual but you are getting
use to it! Take care and see you soon!

Stop using Explorer...

Getting a headache
because of all this HTML coding...
I’m getting back to you
folks as I received some messages telling me that the
site was not rendering properly! As a mater of fact I
only received one message: thank you again Morgane! It
seems that the problem only takes place when you are
using Internet Explorer (that sucks as 80 % of you are
using it!) Still I did some tests at my friends’ places
and it all depends on the version you have of Explorer!
I’ve realized that with different versions you get
different results! So all I have to say is stop using
it and start downloading some free and better stuff
(such as Firefox, Camino, Opera, etc)! No okay, more
seriously I know that I’m not gonna change your habits
(even if it would make life easier for you), so I have
changed some stuff and codes! I sincerely hope that the
site will now be rendering the way it should be! But to
know that I will need your feedback, so leave a comment
should you spot something strange! Thanks people!
